The Window of Youth

Reading of an article by a young writer, “Anything But Christian: Why Millennials Leave the Church” left me in pain.

One can easily call such Millennials faithless and impious. But I’m actually very touched by the article.

As the writer cries out, “we want Jesus!” (not the church amenities and niceties). But today’s churches offer very little real “Jesus”.

Youth is the best window to seek and find truth. Even a young person’s anger is closer to truth than an old man’s hypocrisy.

It is fake religion that kills faith the most.

But God will always find those who belong to Him.

To the young people I love: “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth— before the days of trouble come and the years draw near when you will say, ‘I find no pleasure in them!’”. Ecclesiastes 12:1
